Ok, OK! The Vampire Weekend hype has pretty much abated, gone seeing as the album is out, I have to say that I did 'acquire' the album a while back now, but never gave it a proper, respectable listen, well to be honest all I did was play A-Punk, Oxford Comma and Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa repeatedly, totally ignoring the rest of the tracks which upon a recent file opening, I really enjoyed! Especially the one called Mansard Roof, the whole album is very infectious and I myself feel the lust for cheery upbeat indie pop blood.
