the blogger police
I had a post deleted due to thew copyright reasons apparently. I'm rather annoyed they didn't actually contact me and they went straight throught to blogger about it. As stated on the right hand side, I will remove any track if it bothers people, they don't have to go and get rid of my intellectual musings goddamit!
Well anyway I think I can guess what the offending track was now, so that is an artist I won't post anymore of, (if you want to guess, it begins with a 'Run' and ends with a 'C')
I think it shouldn't've been offending copyright holders, think I would have piqued alot of interest for that song again with the 100+ people who viewed my blog recently. I'm going to continue to blog and stick it to the man,so there.
Depeche Mode - People Are People
The Clash - Train in Vain
Willy Mason - We Can Be Strong
There was a boom of singer-songwriters a couple of years ago, the undeniably pants James Blunt really brought that about but there always have been amazingly good singer-songwriters. Like Willy Mason. He's just amazing, each song of his I think I really do enjoy.
Willy Mason - When the River Moves On
Willy Mason - Save Myself
I'm liking more and more, the individual indie types. For instance Conor Oberst's new album is actually rather good, I listened to it and latched on pretty quick, I did indeed like it straight away. He's definitely a talented musician
Conor Oberst - Milk Thistle
Also Laura Marling and Lightspeed Champion, they're both great and I've covered them on here before. They've both got a unique indie sensibility and also in Laura's case a voice which sounds like it's from someone so much older, which is not a bad thing! It's a fantastic voice!
One of my many favourites of her work:
