I won't be doing Tuesday Tuneage this week, there's no need! The only music I've been listening to recently is the new Girl Talk album and I highly recommend it:

Click here to download it, it's pay what you want so be a pikey and pay nothing, like me.

Every track on the album surprises me with both the extent of variety with the samples he uses and also the broad types of music covered, it branches out from indie to hip hop and nearly anything else you could think of in between

The almost complete list of samples is here on Wikipedia,, it details every track and the samples that make them up.

There are some really good tracks that are used, as said before it comes across a bit nostalgic, because by recognising the tracks it just reminds me how good they are. Here's a few tracks I can remember off the top of my head that stood out in the mash;

Elvis Costello - Pump it Up

Blur - Song 2

Prince - Kiss

Hot Chip - Ready for the Floor

Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Under the Bridge

And as an extra, spot one of these tracks here:
Girl Talk - Here's the Thing
